Formed in 2021, Hermione's Home is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization

At Hermione's Home we believe that every cat deserves a fighting chance. We put all of our efforts into finding homes and providing medical care for abandoned, unwanted, homeless cats. We are able to do this because of our amazing supporters and our incredible foster homes.

The founders and owners of Hermione's Home, Ashley Knapik and her husband Jared, have been involved in cat rescue since 2014. After the loss of their beloved tortie, Hermione, they fostered and found homes for many cats with the support of various rescues. In 2021, in the midst of pursuing her MBA, Ashley decided it was time to make a bigger impact by opening her own foster-based rescue, in the name of her best friend, Hermione.
